Our platforms bring out the true sound of your components. Perfect sound reproduction with ideal isolation artfully blended a seriously functional framework is the core of every Audiav rack. One look is enough to separate your equipment from any other a/v structures available on Earth. Crystal uprights are two to three times larger than Zirconia Series frames. Quintessential properties permit modular attachment at 45, 90, 135 or 180 degrees to wrap around corners or create large credenzas and entertainment centers. Crystal Series designs use revolutionary adjustable camlocks, giving the rigid strength of a fixed joint with a new unheard of "unlockable" level of flexibility. The Crystal Series uses two inch 2" (50mm) thick support bars which were designed around quad camlocks.
There is never a need to buy future racking since you simply adjust, add, move or remove components as desired. Audiav cabinets are designed to provide great value as opposed to cheaper, unaesthetic or other limited configuration fixed designs.
Precise tolerances yield a completely seamless joint; completely free of visual defects, screws, loose parts or weld points.
Patented low durometer decouplers have ideal compression to remove many vibrations with specially formulated properties for massive weight handling. Decouples provide true jitter absorption with specialized polymer composites. Specialty platforms allow complete isolation from component to component.
Aesthetics can be changed by turning beams "cam lock out" (also making for quick work of future reconfiguration) with beam adjustments easily accessible ideal for quickly switching out, moving or leveling platforms. Fascia Sets may also be added to match your listening room with optional matching Sidekits to complete the look.
It is certainly constructed of “sterner stuff” (Optimus Prime would be proud of it), not typically found in any rack system I have encountered which will securely house the very best and consequently heaviest gear on the market. Its open design architecture allows you easy access to the components and cabling which is imperative for someone like me who changes out equipment more frequently than Paris Hilton gets busted by the law.
If you have the funds and a virtually bullet proof, ergonomic, cost no object A/V rack is what you are looking for, then I suggest you strongly consider a rack system from Audiav... Massive bottom leveling feet at the base of the stands concede to flooring inconsistencies to precisely level over carpet tack strips, rugs, tile transitions or changes in ground coverings. Leveling occurs at each foot post and also at each shelf support for ideal flexibility.
Large structures can easily and quickly assembled without loose parts, pins or screws. Simply place supports bars into upright channels and turn cams. Height adjustment and expansion takes only seconds without any of the limitations caused by welded or screwed frames.
Extreme engineered 3 & 1/8" thick upright post uses eight slotted channels to slide, couple or branch off of. Fabricated from true, high-grade solid aluminum, completely devoid of cheap steel with undesired resonant qualities. Patented post design allows for easy expansion, simple setup, advanced wire management and a wide variety of unique accessories. Upright posts can be lead or bismuth shot filled for complete inertness.
Small wire management can be used by simply sliding wires into open end, and inserted into grooves. This unique design allows you to simply add and remove wires as needed without feeding cables through inadequate or inaccessible wiring channels. Multiple 7" sections can be mounted at 45 degrees or in any of the locations to hide wires and allow for ideal access.
Wire retention can also be slid together to form longer channels. Separation of signal and power wires is essential to reduce induction interference problems.
Advanced wire management allows you to run independently down each rear upright giving two feet of separation & organizing even the most advanced cable network that removes and installs in just seconds!
Crystal designs have a small footprint, completely designed to fit in very tight spaces. Just two attached Crystal racks can form a double or triple equipment column system.
Designs may share any of the 8 vertical grooves fabricated into the upright posts for the ultimate in reconfiguring and customization.
Framework color is available in Standard Silver Matte, Premium Black Textured, or can be custom matched to your RAL color scheme in anodized or powdercoated finishes.
